Titanium

 Why Titanium?

Titanium is found in the earths crust and found in all living animals, plants, bodies of water, rocks and soils. It can naturally interact with oxygen to create titanium oxides, commonly found in ores, indigenous specks of dust, sands and soils.

It also helps plants flourish green and is one of the most beneficial elements for crop biodiversity. It's non toxic to animals (humans) and because of it's vast ability and diverse forms it's used from everything to anything such as food production, paints, aerospace engineering and now jewellery.

Titanium is essentially a wonder metal, with it's infinite recyclable abilities due to the fact it cannot rust and it's ability to self clean ( titanium dioxide ), light weight while retaining strength and regarded as the ONLY eco metal.

Titanium is the most eco-friendly metal for environmental safety and sustainability, Titanium is 100% Recyclable eco metal, because it doesn't rust or deteriorate over time like other metals and its infinitely recyclable.

Here's a few key things to know.

  • 100% hypoallergenic, perfect for people allergic to more traditional metals such as gold and silver or have previously had a rash from cheap rings.
  • Corrosion resistant so it won't rust like cheap steel rings or " Titanium Steel " which doesn't exist and is just a marketing term. They wont tarnish like silver and gold can over time, our anodized rings need a little bit of care find info here.
  • Very durable, titanium does scratch but only of the surface so doesn't damage the rings integrity. We only use Grade 2 and Grade 5 TI-6AI-4V for our titanium rings as we believe it to be the best available. Grade 2 is only used for hammered effect designs, we will always display material per ring so you can be certain what material you will receive.
  • The highest strength to weight ratio of any metal, sometimes you can barely feel your wearing a ring its so light.
